The Hiking Club roughed muddy terrain during their winter hiking event on March 11. Although they faced some challenges, Hiking Club President Aldrich Valerian said they had a good time.
Valerian helped club members to safely cross a slippery road. His tip for getting by dangers such as insecure rocks and slick trails, is to move gingerly — when in doubt, test each step before putting down your full weight.
When they made it to their destination, the waterfall of Coal Creek Falls, Valerian said club member Paul Cooper “was brave enough to reach the top.”
