Organic and geometric forms hang from the ceiling in the lobby in the 1000 Building, which is also known as the Art Gallery. This installation by Chromatopia is called “BOMBOGENESIS!” and changes colors, lit from within.
Chromatopia is a collaboration between Seattle-based artists, Liz Tran and Elizabeth Gahan. Tran and Gahan aptly describe their work together as “psychedelically colorful and excitingly stimulating.”
The installation looks like an ugly ceiling on one hell of an acid trip. It’s worth checking out before it comes down on Dec. 30.
For a fun bonus, check out Crystal, a piece by Chromatopia on the stairs of the PUB.
