If you’re an international student, you know that a lot about your education is at least a little different from your domestic classmates. Come to this session and learn about academic and English proficiency requirements, and everything else you need to know about applying to the UW.
Advisers Out and About

Every once in a while, the school throws caution to the wind and lets the advisers roam freely across the campus. They figure a little fresh air once a quarter is good for them. Additionally, their natural instincts will lead them to the library, where you can discuss your future with them, both long term (transfer, majors), and short (what classes to take in winter, when your actual registration date is).

If you’ve been auditing a class this long, it might just be time to bite the bullet and take the credits, since you’re doing the work anyway. On the other hand, maybe you were actually auditing your class the whole time. Yeah, that’s why none of the homework got turned in. Totally.

U.S-Russia Relations: A New Cold War?

A free event for all SCC students. Bradley J. Murg, assistant professor of political science and director of global developmental studies at Seattle Pacific University, will be SCC’s guest speaker for the evening. Murg’s expertise in Asian and Russian history and exchange would be highly beneficial for students to become aware of, due to the new ties America has cultivated between President Trump and Putin.
