Instrumental Juries
10 a.m.-12 p.m., June 15; 800 Building, Room 818
Instrumental music trainees will once again perform in front of a jury for their final. Any student who performs exceptionally well has the chance to receive either “Outstanding” or “Honorary” performance acknowledgment, with “Outstanding” scholars being able to perform at an honors recital.
Vocal Juries
12:30-2:15 p.m., June 15; 800 Building, Room 818
The vocal juries following the instrumental juries will have the same schedule. Private vocal students will be evaluated by a select jury of music faculty, with the “Outstanding” performers being given the opportunity to play at an honors recital.
Piano Juries
2:30-4:30 p.m., June 15; 800 Building, Room 818
SCC’s private piano players will be performing their best piece as their final exam in front of the jury and their peers.
Class Voice Juries
7-9:30 p.m., June 15; 800 Building, Room 818
The finale begins. The last jury exam will feature students performing vocally, either solo or in small groups.
Off We Fly Now
7:30-9:30 p.m., June 15-16; 1600 Building
SCC’s theater and visual communications programs will combine their creative outlets in a final show, “Off We Fly Now,” a new perspective on fairy tale princesses landing in the real, non-storybook world. Join the princesses on their journey to understand both themselves and what a true happy ending really is. Ticket prices are available on the Brown Paper Tickets website.
Spring 2018 Vocal Graduation Recital: Kehla Grow and Trevor Eaden
7-10 p.m., June 19; 1600 Building
Two talented vocal students, Trevor Eaden (baritone) and Kehla Grow (soprano), will be performing work by composers such as Mozart, DeBussy, Puccini and many more. Elizabeth Rainy, on piano, and Kiana Burt, on oboe, will be performing alongside the two singers.
