Origins: True Tales of the Immigrant Experience

The Ray Howard Library YouTube channel will be hosting live presentations of “Origins: True Tales of the Immigrant Experience,” a series of performances influenced by the real-life experiences of SCC students as immigrants.

Spindrift 2021 Release Event

The staff of Spindrift, SCC’s art and literary publication, will be hosting an event at Ravenna Third Place Books to celebrate the release of the journal’s 2021 issue. Copies will be available for purchase.

Online Yoga

12:35-1:25 p.m., June 15 & 17; Zoom meeting

Students, staff and faculty are invited to participate in a 50-minute Zoom yoga session. No prior experience necessary.

Commencement: 2021 Drive-Thru Graduation Celebration

1-3 p.m., June 19; SCC campus (Register here)

SCC graduates are invited to take part in the college’s first-ever drive-thru graduation celebration.
One vehicle is permitted per graduate, including family and friends. Students that do not have access to a vehicle may participate by riding in the college shuttle.

Unemployment Q&A Sessions

10-11 a.m., June 22; Virtual meeting (Register here)

At this Q&A event, participants will have the chance to ask a state Employment Security Department representative for advice on topics such as job searching, job training and unemployment claims and appeals.
