The Associated Student Government (ASG) typically holds meetings from 3-5 p.m. every other Monday in the boardroom of the 1000 Building. This meeting was held on Feb. 24. The next meeting will be held on Mar. 9.
Students may attend if they would like to meet their representatives or voice an issue. In addition, students may meet with their representatives in the Student Life Office on the third floor of the PUB on most weekdays.
Budget and Finance Officer Krizzia Sunio gave the update for the latest budget numbers: $53,419.75 remain of the $75,000 mini grant budget for the year.

Multicultural Center
The Multicultural Center asked for funds to pay their student staff’s salaries for the rest of the year. Supervisor Jamie Ardeña pointed out that in past years the Multicultural Center depended on student staff from work/study programs for staffing needs.
However, this year, the MC doesn’t have any work/study staffers, which led to regular student staffers working more hours. Work/study students salaries aren’t paid from the Multicultural Center budget, but regular student salaries are.
Ardeña highlighted the dedication of the Multicultural Center’s student staff’s hard work and thanked the ASG board for “stepping up” to support the Multicultural Center.
