The Associated Student Government (ASG) typically holds meetings from 3-5 p.m. every other Monday in the boardroom of the 1000 Building. This meeting was held on Jan. 27 and was the first meeting of the winter quarter. The next meeting will be held on Feb. 10.
Students may attend if they would like to meet their representatives or voice an issue. In addition, students may meet with their representatives in the Student Life Office on the third floor of the PUB on most weekdays.

SCC Athletics
The athletics department requested money to compensate their coaches, as they were excluded from a Cost of Living Adjustment (COLA) of 8% that the rest of the department saw due to their administrative-exempt status. The amount requested will cover the Cost of Living Adjustment (COLA) for the entire year.

The Hiking Club requested funding to organize a welcome party open to existing members, new members and the greater SCC community. The aim of the event is to introduce the community to the hikes that the club plans to organize.

The Vocal Association asked for money to organize their annual singing competition, which will take place on Feb. 20 from 5:30-8 p.m. in the 1600 building. The fee will cover prizes for the winners as well as food provided to attendees.
