It’s the first meeting of the Short Story Club, in which members read and discuss (you guessed it) short stories. This week the topic of interest is “Rites” from Venita Blackburn’s collection “Black Jesus & Other Superheroes.” The meeting is open to all students, faculty and staff. Auditions for How to Succeed in Business Without Really Trying

Ever wanted to be in a musical? This is your chance! Fill out a form online, prepare a short monologue and musical theater or operatic piece, and you’ll be all set to audition. Callbacks will be held on Saturday, Feb 1. Auditions are open to the public.
Shoreline Short Short Film Festival

Support local emerging filmmakers at this short film festival. Entries are judged by local filmmakers including SCC Film and Theater Program Lead Tony Doupe. 18 films will be shown, each under ten minutes long. All films are unrated. Cost: $20 General Admission
