Hard work pays off: SCC students taking private instrumental lessons this quarter will have the opportunity to perform solo pieces to be graded by a panel of instructors. This morning of musical performances is free and open to the public, so anyone is welcome to sit in and listen. Watch these artists give it their best as they have the chance to be awarded for Honorary or Outstanding performances.

SCC students taking private piano lessons this quarter will have the opportunity to play solo pieces to be graded by a panel of instructors. This afternoon of piano performances is also free and open to the public.
Vocal Class Recital
7 p.m., June 14; Rm. 818
SCC’s voice classes are comprised of students who learn tips about singing and stage presence by performing songs of their choice in a classroom environment. Some have little to no experience in front of a crowd, making this evening a special opportunity to show your support. Join this free event as singers take the stage to present their final pieces, which span from contemporary to classical.
Shoreline Arts Festival

Drop by the campus to kick off the summer at this free festival filled with art, culture and performances — complete with a variety of food and a beer garden for attendees 21 and over.
Tartuffe

The Student Theatrical Society is back with its biggest production yet: “Tartuffe,” written by renowned 17th century playwright Molière. In this classic comedy, religion meets hypocrisy as the title character spins lies and fools families. Although the play was written in the 1600s, some of its themes are as fresh as yesterday.
