Cameron Dollar loves setting people up for success. In close proximity to Shoreline and strongly supportive of the college’s mission, the college’s new athletic director Cameron Dollar arrives from Franklin High School. He brings an everlasting passion for sports, love for competition, and experience in developing young talent.
Dollar intends to be a strong, credible voice for athletes and believes he was meant to help people across the sphere of sports. He aims to tailor support to each student, advocate for coaches, and create memorable connections.
“I have gained an appreciation for different styles and approaches in witnessessing the diversity of motivation,” Dollar expressed. He finds that his experience allows him to get the most out of versatile people. No matter how someone approaches their game and no matter why they play, Dollar says he can spark growth and improvement.
As he works towards coaching tenures, Dollar is inspired by the energetic personalities and legendary characters of Deion Sanders, Bill Parcells and Rick Pitino. What all these men share in common is a pair of championships in their respective leagues. Given his own college title from his time at UCLA in the 90s, it’s safe to say Cameron Dollar brings a winning culture along with a wealth of knowledge to Shoreline.
