As the academic year begins to close, many student leaders are moving onto bigger and better things in life. The Associated Student Government, better known as ASG, will host an open forum to ultimately determine who the best fit for Student Body President is. The event will be held in room 9208 on May 2 at 2:30 p.m. While voting will take place through May 2 to May 12.

ASG president is a unique role within the ASG, as their responsibilities are heavier like acting as the chairperson during meetings and such. There will be two segments during the open forum. In the first segment there will be predetermined questions that the candidates will answer. Then during the second segment the Q&A will be open to the student body.

All students are welcome to attend this event, and there will be free food and refreshments. Come meet the two candidates, Lina Chung and Everett Lockhart next Tuesday. Make sure to keep an eye out for more articles about the candidates sometime next week!
