The Associated Student Government will continue to hold board meetings via Zoom every other Monday for the remainder of winter quarter. Students are welcome to join and voice concerns or speak to their representatives. The latest meeting was held on Feb. 22.

Mini Grants

Budget and Finance Officer Nathan Sidik began the meeting by giving ASG’s mini grant report: $7,000 out of $25,000 of the budget remains for the quarter.

Appointment Review Committees

Appointment Review Committees are student panels that review professors seeking a tenured position. The panels are assembled by faculty, and the ASG is tasked with approving the faculty’s nominees. This week, the ASG unanimously voted to appoint ARC nominee Mashaal Shameem.

The next ASG meeting is scheduled for Mar. 8.
